Reverend Harry Williams, II leads a newly founded work at the church. The Streets Disciples ministry to the victims of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation is a grassroots, ground level ministry which is seeking concerned church and community members willing to ban together to work for the abolition of 21st century slavery. The reemergence of slavery has become a grave threat all around the world. Human trafficking has become the second largest criminal enterprise in the world. Oakland, California is now nationally recognized as an epicenter for the trafficking of children. Williams and other volunteers will be seeking ways to assist fragile families and at-risk youth. They will also be seeking paths to share God's mercy with others caught up in the streets of Oakland.
