The Allen Temple AIDS Ministry is managed and operated by dedicated volunteers. Given the significant impact of the HIV/AIDS pandemic across the lives of so many people, our work continues to grow. As a result, we need committed individuals like you to join our Ministry team.
Volunteer Opportunities
Everyone has personal and professional talents which they have been blessed with and the Allen Temple AIDS Ministry focuses on utilizing your talents and also, aligning you to the type of work you would like to become involved with or contribute. We greatly value diversity and inclusiveness and we warmly welcome everyone! Below, we have provided opportunities for volunteering:
- Ministry sponsored fundraisers, workshops or events.
- Join the Ministry team and contribute as a committee sub team member or leader. Our committees work on a variety of projects in the following areas; operations, marketing communications, fundraising, membership/volunteering and our East Oakland and Zimbabwe programs and services.
- Travel to Africa and work at the Mother of Peace Community and the Medical Clinics.
- Attend our monthly team meeting and just get a closer experience with the Ministry. Visit our Events and Announcements for the date, time and location for our next scheduled meeting.
