My Allen Temple Membership

1 - How do I forward my Allen Temple email to my personal email account?

Note: these instructions only work using Microsoft Internet Explorer browser.

Perform these steps to forward your Allen Temple email (i.e. mymail@allen-temple.org) to a personal email account:

1. Open a Web Browser using Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE).

2. Go to http://webmail.allen-temple.org/exchange

3. Login using your userid and password

4. Click the "Contacts" icon found in the "Folders" section on the left side of the screen

5. Click New to add a New Contact

6. Complete the contact card for your personal account

7. Save and Close

8. Click Rules

9. Click New to create a New Rule

10. Give the rule a name (i.e. Forward to Personal E-mail)

11. Under Sent To, click the Address Book

12. In the Display, type your name

13. Click Find

14. Highlight your name

15. Click Apply

16. Click Close

17. Place a dot on Forward it to

18. Click the Address Book

19. Change Find Names in to Contacts

20. Type your name

21. Click Find

22. Highlight your name

23. Click Apply

24. Click Close

25. Click Save and Close

E-mails now sent to your Allen Temple E-mail will forward to your personal account.

Allen Temple has partnered with our church management software provider, Shelby Systems Inc., to provide Allen Temple WebView, a secure service that allows members to login and access their church records plus make online donations and purchases.

Allen Temple WebView is safe and secure. Each user has their own unique login and password that guarantees protection against unauthorized access.

4 - How do I get started with Allen Temple WebView (for visitors and guests)

What is Allen Temple WebView?

Allen Temple has partnered with our church management software provider, Shelby Systems Inc., to provide Allen Temple WebView, a secure service that allows members to login and access their church records plus make online donations and purchases.

Allen Temple WebView is safe and secure. Each user has their own unique login and password that guarantees protection against unauthorized access.

Visitors and Guests
You must first register with Allen Temple WebView to login and make online donations or purchases. To register, go to online donations, complete the New User form and click Register. You can immediately make online donations. Once your registration is approved, you will also have access to the personal profile page and can review and update your profile information.

5 - How to add an email address to my church records?

To login to Allen Temple WebView, you need the email address that is in your membership file with the church records.

Verify Your Email

Instructions to check if your email address is in your membership file.

  1. Go to My Allen Temple, Personal Profile
  2. Click the link - Forget your password? Have it e-mailed to you.
  3. Enter your email address and click continue.

Message - Passwords are being sent.
Great! The email that you entered is on file in your church records. Webview is sending your password to that email address. When you get the password, login using the email address and password.

Message - There are no users with e-mail addresses in the criteria you selected. No e-mails will be sent.
Sorry! Webview does not recognize the email address that you entered. Perhaps you have a different email address in your file. Update your email using the instructions below.

Add Your Email

Instructions to add an email address to your membership file in the church records.
You must complete the Allen Temple Membership Update Form to update your records.

Manual Update

The Membership Update Form can be used to update most of the information in your file.  Print and complete the form, and return to an Usher, the Church Office or the Trustee Room.  Allow up to one week for your file to be updated.

Complete the online form to update just your email address.  You must have your Member Number in order to use the online form.

6 - How do I change my password?

After you login, you will see your profile (plus members of your family if you are the head of household).

  • Click on your name. Your complete profile will display with a Change Password link in the middle of the page.
  • Click on the Change Password link.
  • Enter and confirm your new password
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the Update button.
  • Password requirements:
    Length must be between 6-20 alphanumeric characters
    Password must begin with a letter
    Password must contain at least one digit

    7 - What if I forgot my password?

    1. Go to My Allen Temple Personal Profile
    2. Click the link - Forget your password? Have it e-mailed to you.
    3. Enter the email address that is in your membership file with the church records. If your email address is outdated, or you have never given an email address to the church, then go to "How to add an email address to my church records?" and follow the instructions there.

    5. Click continue. (Note, only click continue once or you will be sent an email for every time you click continue.) If your email is on file in the church records, you will receive your password via email. If your email is not on file, you will get the message "There are no users with e-mail addresses in the criteria you selected." In this case, follow the instructions in "How to add an email address to my church records?"
    6. Allen Temple WebView will send you a password
    7. Go back My Allen Temple Personal Profile
    8. Login using the email address that you enter above, and the password that you received in the email.
    9. Once you have logged in, change your password to something that you can remember. Remember to change your password often and keep it in a safe place to avoid unauthorized access.
    10. If you are still having problems, submit a ticket to the Help Desk.

    8 - Why do I get the message "Login Failed!" when I try to login?

    The message "Login Failed!" indicates that the login or password is incorrect.

    If you received your password via email from WebView, enter the password exactly as provided, with no leading or trailing spaces.  The password may contain periods, open and close brackets, or any other keyboard character.  Enter all the characters sent in the email.

    After 4 failed attempts to login, your account will be locked for 30 minutes for security purposes.  We cannot reset the lock.  Please wait 30 minutes and try again.


     

    9 - Why am I asked to enter my email address when I try to login?

    After 4 failed attempts to login, your account will be locked for 30 minutes for security purposes.

    You will get the message login "Login Failed!" for the first 3 tries, then you will see the password reset box.

    Enter your email and click continue.  WebView will send your password to you again.  However, we cannot reset the lock.  Please wait 30 minutes and try to log in again.

    10 - What if I don't have an email address?

    If you do not have an email address but would like to use Allen Temple Webview, Allen Temple will provide an email address for you. Submit a request to the Help Desk with your phone number and the best time to reach you, and we will contact you as soon as possible.

    11 - Is my information in Allen Temple Webview secure?

    Yes! All transactions are using HTTPS secure access, SSL encryption and are processed by a PCI-compliant service provider.  

    In order to combat credit card fraud, major credit card companies got together and published standards for securing credit card information. The result of this was the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards. These standards define the best practices for storing, transmitting, and securing payment information.

    To be PCI compliant, processors must adhere to a strict set of requirements with regard to how they store, hold, and secure credit card information. Allen Temple WebView uses applications provided by Shelby Systems, Inc., who has partnered with Payment Data Systems, Inc.  collect payment information. Payment information is stored on their secure servers to ensure that it is kept safe.  Both Shelby Systems, Inc., and Payment Data Systems, Inc. are PCI compliant.

    12 - How do I print a tax statement of my contributions?

    Print a tax statement of your contributions using the Giving History module.

  • Go to My Allen temple, Giving History
  • Login
  • Enter the date range for the tax statement and Click View
  • Your tax statement for the date range selected will appear in a new window.
  • Click on File and Print to print this statement to your printer.
  • Don't forget to Logout!

    13 - Can I get recordings of past choir performances?

    Contact the Music Minsitry at atbcmusic@allen-temple.org for more information on how to do this.

    14 - How do I submit a suggestion for a video?

    You will need to contact the Information technology Ministry at itministry@allen-temple.org with your request.  They will get back to you with instructions on where to send your video.

    15 - How do I reserve Audio/Visual equipment?

    You will need to go to the Media Ministry page, which can be found here.  Once there, click the Audio/Visual/Video Request Form link, and follow the instructions.
