Reverend Shaw has been on staff at Allen Temple for nine years and serves as Social Service Minister. Reverend Shaw develops and implements outreach ministries including: the Allen Temple anger Management Program, a certified batterer's treatment program for men and women, the allen Temple Drug diversion Program, the Allen Temple Job Information Center  and the Malachi Program for non-custodial fathers. Reverend Shaw is the training coordinator for the Allen Temple Prison Ministry, a Bible Study teacher and she is a board member of the Josie King Foundation.

Reverend Shaw obtained her BA Degree from the University of St. Thomas, Houston TX, her MA Degree from Golden Gate Baptist Seminary, Mill Valley, CA, Certificate of Community Based Public Administration and is pursuing her Doctorate at San Francisco Theological Seminary where she is a Eureka Communities Fellow.
