Reverend Patricia Gardner
Reverend Gardner has been a member of the Allen Temple family for twenty-eight
years. After raising a family of four and working in public service for
over forty years with the State of California Employment Development Department
and the City of Richmond Parks and Recreation Department, God has called
her to a higher calling. She has recently been appointed as Director of
the Allen TempleVolunteer Mnistries Program. She serves on the Prison Mnistry
Team and is the President for the Allen Temple Leadership Institute Alumni
Association. She is a Bible Study teacher for the Volunteers of America
Family Booth House, an alternative prison facility for mothers and their
children. She strives to do the will of God by spreading the Good News
of Jesus Christ through out the community and where ever God Leads.
Mnister Gardner obtained her Bachlor of Arts Degree from the University
of San Francisco in San Francisco California, a Certificate in Leadership
from The Allen Temple Leadership Institute in Oakland California and she
is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at The American Baptist Seminary
Of The West in Berkeley, California.
