Greetings Family,
Ponder these thoughts from the author of the book, “Jesus Calling”
“Relax in the knowledge that the One who controls your life is totally trustworthy. Come to Me with confident expectation. There is nothing you need that I cannot provide.” (Page 132); Author: Sarah Young}
For this week (July 16 through July 22), we beseech you (once again) to ‘pray aloud’ and meditate on the prayer themes and the words from these beautiful songs. Trust and Engage. If possible, let's pray together during the 7am morning hour, 7pm evening hour or 12:00 noon time-frame.
Prayer Themes and Scriptures
- Believe, God has the answers – [Jeremiah 18]
- Have Thine Own Way, Lord
Have thine own way, Lord! Have thine own way!
Thou art the potter, I am the clay.
Mold me and make me after thy will,
while I am waiting, yielded and still.
Have thine own way, Lord! Have thine own way!
Search me and try me, Savior today!
Wash me just now, Lord, wash me just now,
as in thy presence humbly I bow.
Have thine own way, Lord! Have thine own way!
Wounded and weary, help me I pray!
Power, all power, surely is thine!
Touch me and heal me, Savior divine!
Have thine own way, Lord! Have thine own way!
Hold o'er my being absolute sway.
Fill with thy Spirit till all shall see
Christ only, always, living in me!
Author: Adelaide A. Pollard (1906)
- Believe, God has the answers – [John 17:22-23 (NRSV)]
- Make Us One Lord
Make us one Lord, Make us one
Holy Spirit, Make us one
Let your love flow, so the world will know
We are one, in You

- Believe, God has the answers – [Revelation 5:12]
- Before The Throne
Before the throne is where we come to offer praise and seek wisdom
You have torn the veil that separates
No more outside now in Your grace.
Before the throne is where we come to offer praise and seek wisdom
You have torn the veil that separates
No more outside now in Your grace
So we bow as we enter the throne room
And we cast ourselves down at Your feet
We cry holy, thou art holy, there is none like thee.
In Your presence is where we must be
Prepare our hearts for service now
When we fall short please show us how
Guide us with Your truth, ancient of days
Renew our hearts and cleanse our way
So we bow as we enter the throne room
And we cast ourselves down at Your feet
We cry holy, thou art holy, there is none like thee
In Your presence is where we must be
So we bow as we enter the throne room
And we cast ourselves down at Your feet
We cry holy, thou art holy, there is none like thee
In Your presence is where we must be

- Sunday School Lesson (07/22) – Entering God’s Kingdom
- Luke 13:22-30 (KJV): 22 And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem. 23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, 24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. 25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. 28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. 29 And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. 30 And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.
