Psalms 125:1 Those who trust in THE LORD are as steady as Mount Zion, unmoved by any circumstance. [Living Bible translation]
Summary
There are a number of scriptures about CHRIST, the rock, that analogize the steadfastness, the reliability, and faithfulness of GOD to a rock, or which use the rock as a teaching tool for our spiritual development. Psalms 125:1 is one of those scriptures. Some other scriptures that come to mind include:
Psalms 118:22 – The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. [New American Standard Bible translation]

Isaiah 28:16 – But the LORD GOD says, See, I am placing a Foundation Stone in Zion—a firm, tested, precious Cornerstone that is safe to build on.

1 Peter 2:4-7 – Come to HIM, to that living stone, rejected by men but in GOD’s sight chosen and precious; and like living stones be yourselves built into a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to GOD through JESUS CHRIST. For it stands in scripture:
“Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen and precious,
And he who believes in HIM will not be put to shame.” [See Isaiah 28:16]
To you, therefore, who believes, he is precious, but for those who do not believe,
“The very stone which the builders rejected has become the head of the corner,” [See Psalms 118:22] and
“A stone that makes men stumble, a rock that will make them fall”
[See Isaiah 8:14]
Matthew 16:15-16,18 - Then HE asked them, “Who do you think I am?” Simon Peter answered, “THE CHRIST, THE MESSIAH, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD….You are Peter, a stone: and upon this rock, I will build my church, and all of the powers of hell shall not prevail against it. [Living Bible translation.]
In all of these verses GOD is tell us that if we have faith in JESUS, we will be “ROCK steady!”
